| Rafter G Cattle Co. is owned and operated by Nate and Jackie Gardner, along with their two boys, Beau and Jesse. The Ranch is situated on the Little Arrowwood Creek, about an hour southeast of Calgary, Alberta. Rafter G still maintains a herd of Tarentaise/Angus cross commercial cows to serve as embryo recipients. But, the focus has, and continues to be, in elite bucking cattle. After winding down his bull riding career, Nate stayed involved in rodeo and bull riding by building a bucking cow herd based upon proven bloodlines, and crossing those cows with outstanding Canadian and American sires. Nate's experience as an Artificial Insemination Technician, allows Rafter G to outcross with outstanding genetics. Rafter G has cattle on both sides of the 49th parallel to satisfy all their customer needs. Whether it be semen, embryos, calves, or cows. Rafter G invites you to give them a call, or stop by.
